Biography
Born in Toulouse (France) Joanna D started dancing at her very young age. At first ballet classes were a child passtime. When she turned 10 she decided to become a professional dancer.
She got in Conservatoire Régional de Toulouse before pursuing her professional dance training with Centre de Danse Line Jenny NEEL in Albi.

2008 – 2010
Joanna D was selected for Prix de Lausanne 2008 (Switzerland). She got a scholarship for the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet. She finally decided to stay in Europe and got her first contract a few months later as a professional ballet dancer at Deutsche Oper Am Rhein (Dusseldorf, Germany) when she was 19.

2010 - 2014

She left the dance professional world for a while exploring a new career as dietitian. She got her national diploma in dietetic and decided to specialize in sport nutrition. She created her own dietetitian business. As she was still passionate with dance she left her dietitian business to continue her career as a professional dancer.

2015 - 2016
Joanna D crossed the Atlantic ocean and spent one season dancing with Ballet Palm Beach (Florida, USA). She met her american ballet partner Tyveze Littlejohn and the artistic director casted them as leads in The Great Gatsby piece. The artistic connection was so perfect that they decided to create together TYCA DANCE PROJECT. They went a few weeks on tour in France during summer 2016 dancing their own dance piece called Evolution of Love.

2016 - 2022
Back in France Joanna started to explore shows and performances outside of ballet world. She performed in different festivals such as Electrobeach Festival in 2017. Then she danced for several events and got a contract in cabaret Le Grain de Folie in Bordeaux before getting a contract as dancer and aerialist in one of the biggest cabaret in France l’Ange Bleu in Bordeaux.

2022 - 2023
​
Joanna founded The Crazy Angels in 2022 with her collaborating partner Sani. Their artistic shows took place in several venues in Bordeaux, Cap Ferret and Corsica. Then Joanna took an opportunity to move to French Riviera to become artistic director and choreographer for opening dinner show at Gaya Valentine in Marseille. At the same time she keeps working for events and weddings with The Crazy Angels.
